I. Publications :

1. The 'like' :

Tag : like, J'aime

To like a publication, click on the heart icon. This icon will then take the color red. To no longer like the publication, then click on this red heart icon. This will remove your 'I like'.

2. The 'Boost' (ex-Rise) :

Tag : Boost/Rise

To sponsor a publication, click on the arrow icon. You will then be asked to confirm this action. Once confirmed, you can no longer delete your 'Boost'. Each time you click on the arrow icon you improve the visibility of the sponsored publication in the search results. You can boost your own publications or that of another user. You can boost one or more publications as many times as you want within the limit of your 'Boost(s)' stock. Each time you click on the arrow, your stock of boosts decreases by one. If this stock runs out, you can not sponsor a post anymore. To increase your stock of boosts, you have to mark publications (see the section : The 'Mark'). As soon as you sponsor a publication, you automatically become a 'Boostarz' (see chapter : 'Boostarz').

3. Comment on a publication :

You can comment on a publication by clicking on the speech bubble and then filling in the text field provided for this purpose. Click on 'Publish' to validate your comment.

4. Share a post :

Tag : Share/Retweet/Reblog

To share a publication, click on the retweet icon. A window will open next. Click on 'Yes' to validate your action. The content of the publication will then be shared with your subscribers in your news feed, and will be visible on your profile page.

5. Post a picture or a video :

Tag : Post/Image/Photo/Video

To include an image in a publication, click the image icon. A window will open, allowing you to select an image from those stored on your device. Once selected, it will be included in your publication and you can publish it. It's the same with a video. If you want to post this type of media, click on the video icon. To know : one can only publish one video / image per post.

6. Add a location in the posts :

You can locate the publication by clicking on the button. Then enter the location in the text field. Once chosen, the location will be indicated in the publication if it is published only. The location is not automatic. It's up to you to indicate it only if you wish.

7. Delete a publication :

Tag : Delete publication/Post/Content

You can delete your publications. You can only do it one by one. To do this, click on the menu icon at the top right of the publication and then 'Delete this publication'. You must confirm this action.

8. Delete a comment :

Tag : Delete comment/Content

You can only delete your own comments or those of other users, but appearing on your publications. To do this, click on the menu icon at the top right and then 'Delete this comment'.

9. Report a publication :

Tag : Report/Signal

You may report a publication if it appears offensive or illegal, or if it does not comply with our terms of use. Click on the menu icon at the top left of the publication, then 'Report this publication'. This publication will then be reported as potentially undesirable to the moderation team. By reporting a publication, you also report its author. If the report is justified, the publication may be deleted from the network and its author banned.

10. The 'Mark' :

It represents the set of possible interactions that a user can have with a content. When you register, you have a stock of boost equal to 10. To sponsor a publication, you need boosts. You can acquire them by marking (the'Mark'), that is to say when you like, comment or share a publication. For example, if you mark a publication by clicking on a 'like', you win a'boost/rise'. Likewise if you are commenting or sharing a publication. The more you mark by interacting with publications, the more 'boosts' you get, and the more you can boost. Important: each time you click the arrow, you add a'Mark'to the publication too (But you consume aboost/rise).

11. Popularity of a publication :

Tag : Popularity/visibility/exposition/highlight/putting forward

The stated goal on Boostarzis to put forward the content which deserves it. The more sponsored a publication is, the more likely it is to become popular. The most frequently sponsored publication will be the most visible in the flow of publications, especially in the Community wall.

II. Interactions between accounts :

1. Subscribe to an account (Followings) :

You can subscribe to another user's account by clicking on the 'Follow' button. You will then receive their publications in your news feed in chronological order of their activity, according to the same principle as on the entire platform.

2. Followers :

Tag : follow/followers

Other Boostarz users can subscribe to your account according to the same principle stated above. They will then receive your publications in their news feed in chronological order of their activity, according to the same principle as on the entire platform.

3. Stop following :

Tag : follow/unfollow

If you no longer want to follow an account, click on the 'Unfollow' button. You will no longer receive the flow of the user concerned. Likewise, you can unsubscribe from your account in the same way. The account that has deleted its subscription with you will no longer receive your content in its newsfeed.

4. Boostarz (Sponsors) :

What is a Boostarz ? On Boostarz, a Boostarz is simply a user who puts forward a publication by clicking on the arrow. If you confirm your action, the publication will gain a'mark',and you will lose a 'boost'. And you will be part of the sponsors of the account that created the content. The procedure is automatic. As a 'Boostarz', you will be featured in the top section of the post as well as in the profile page of the account. You will see your avatar appear when the system has taken into account your confirmation. The more you boost publications, the more you become an important Boostarz for the relevant account. And the more you are put forward yourself in the list of Boostarz of the account.

5. Remove a Boostarz :

You can delete a Boostarz. If you do not want a user to boost you for any reason, go to your Boostarz list and click on 'Remove this Boostarz ?'. Then this user will disappear from the top sections of the posts he or she sponsored as well as from your profile page. To reach your Boostarz list, click on 'Boostarz' in your profile page. Note : this account will lose the amount in 'boost' he sent you.

6. To withdraw from the list of sponsors :

Tag : Boostarz/sponsor/sponsoring

You can opt out of the list of Boostarz of an account you have sponsored. To do this click on'Boosted'to reach the list of users concerned. Then click 'Withdraw' to remove yourself from this user's list of sponsors. Warning : you will lose the amount in 'boost' that you sent to this user.

7. Hide a user :

Tag : hide/hidden

It is possible to 'hide' a user and this on all 'flows' of the network. Click on the menu icon at the top right of the articles. Then select 'Hide (as account)'. The posts in this account that you have chosen to hide will become invisible to you. Throughout the site, except for the account profile page. Namely : a hidden account is not blocked. The hidden user can always see what you are posting, and interact with you. If you want to block the account, see the section below: 'Block a user'.

8. Block a user :

You can block a Boostarz user by going to his profile page and clicking 'Block'. This user will no longer be able to view your publication, or contact you. You will - almost - disappear in his eyes. Almost because it has the ability to find you by chance, to access your profile page, but the only thing that will really see will be a button 'Block', which will allow to block you too. Because block an account is a unilateral action on Boostarz. The blocked account will no longer interact with you, but you can still see the contents of this account. We leave the possibility to the user that you have blacklisted, to blacklist you. In this case, you will have become invisible to each other.

9. Activity of the publications :

When you subscribe to a user account, you receive its publications in your news feed. The publications of your subscriptions appear in your feed in chronological order. But this ranking can be overturned by the activity of the Boostarz. Indeed, as soon as a content is sponsored, it is propelled at the top of all stacks of publications.

10. User mention :

You may be mentioned in a post or comment, as long as you have created a user name specific to that destination. To do this, go to your profile page and click on 'Edit profile'. Then, go down to the section 'user mention.'. In the text field, choose an unused nickname. It must be between three and fifteen characters, and contain no spaces or special characters. Once you have validated your choice, you will then have a specific user name, unique to your account.

III. Profile Management :

1. Profile page :

On your profile page will appear your full name, your user mention if you chose one, your profile picture, your biography, your link, your number of publications, subscriptions, subscribers, sponsors, and as your location if you have indicated it. To personalize your profile - especially after your registration, you have to edit your profile (see 'Edit profile').

2. Edit profile :

You can update your information such as your full name, your email address, your location, your avatar (profile photo), choose a user statement, complete your description (biography), the link to your website.

3. Delete account :

You can delete your account at any time and very easily on Boostarz. If you do this, you will lose your right to access Boostarz services, and you will lose the resources you have created through these same services. You will disappear from the network. This action is irreversible. You will not have the opportunity to go back. You can not just suspend an account on Boostarz we can only suppress it.

4. Account settings :

Various tabs tell you what are the various features you can set.
'Notifications' : Select whether you want to receive notifications about your network activity and the interactivity of your posts by e-mail. Warning: if you disable alerts, you will still be able to receive official information from Boostarz's services via email.
'Blocked Accounts' : find here the list of accounts that you blocked, with the possibility of unlocking them if necessary.
'Hidden Accounts' : by clicking on this tab, you will have access to the list of hidden accounts, with the possibility to make them visible again for you on the network.
'Reset Password' : If you want to reset your password, click on this tab and fill in the three fields for this purpose.
'Direct Message': Activate or desactivate the possibility of contacting you by private message.
'Delete account' : see the paragraph with the same name above.

5. Messaging :

To access your private email service, click on the mail icon on the top of the application. In principle, everyone can contact you and you can contact everyone! If you want to send a message to someone, go to his profile page and click on the contact button. Then, in the message sending page, fill in the field and click on 'send'. You can therefore receive messages from any user. However, if one of them is a problem, you can block him by going to his profile page (see 'Block a user' above). He will no longer be able to contact you in any way.

IV. Others :

1. Keywords :

The keywords, also called 'hashtags', are whole words, without spaces or punctuation, preceded by the symbol'#'. This function is very useful for indexing topics in posts. When you click on this keyword, you access all posts that this keyword refers to. You can insert the keyword in any publication. You can create the hashtag yourself ; you will then be allocated. You will be the creator of the keyword. To see the most used keywords and find out who created them, go to the keyword page.

2. Search engine :

Use the Boostarz search engine to search the network. You can search for a user or content, keywords... These are the most recently sponsored or published publications that you will see first, as in the whole platform.

3. Community wall :

Tag : Community wall/www/for you

The Community wall is one of the key concepts of the platform. This is your homepage. The ranking of content is the same as anywhere else (search results, followings, keywords), that is to say that the publications appear at the origin of the most recent to the oldest, but ranking may be upset by sponsoring them. Want the content you like at the top of this wall? So, become a Boostarz !

4. The packs :

'Boosts' are a simple and original way to popularize your publications and those of the accounts that interest you. To acquire these credits, you must mark (love, comment, share) the publications that are presented to you - provided of course that they are worthy of interest ! With a'Mark', you earn a 'Boost' (ex-Rise).But you can take a shortcut by buying boosts 'packs'. There are three different packs :
2.1 The Basic Pack :
For 2.90 €, you buy 100 Boosts.
2.2 On Vacation :
200 Boosts for 4.90 €.
2.3 Serial Riser :
The most expensive but the most profitable package. Very useful to create a Boostarz network. You will buy 500 Boosts for 9,90 €.
