From the midst of London, an annual celebration of LGBT rights, one rugby player involved the parade took a chance and purpose to his boyfriend.
According to footage of this moment, Fernando Ferreira walks towards his boyfriend and drops to one knee.
Fernando is a member of Kings Cross Steelers RFC, that was founded in 1995 as the first ever gay-inclusive rugby club.
At the start of this footage, his team looks like they are going to perform a line-out but after some time Fernando walks up confidently to his boyfriend in the crowd, Greg Woodford.
As he drops to one knee, the crowd immediately realizing that he is proposing, go wild. Then they passionately kiss each other before Fernando puts a golden ring on Greg’s finger.
Fernando and Greg both tear up as the crowd continues to cheer them.
At the end of this video, Fernando’s rugby teammates finish their line-out and lift him and Grig on to their shoulder so they can share a class of champagne.
