According to a study released on Wednesday, the Canadian researchers examined that the average swimming pool contains almost 20 gallons of human pee.

The researchers tested samples from two different sized pool, up to 3 weeks by using a synthetic sweetener called acesulfame-K (ACE), reported by CBS news.

According to researchers, 220,000-gallon pool water, which is one-third the size of an Olympic pool, had about 19.81 gallons urine and according to this estimation, 110 gallon pool water contained about 7.92 gallons of urine.

According to CBZ News reported, this study has revealed after testing 250 samples from 31 pools and hot tubs, this report was published in “Environmental Science $ Letters”.
