CNN producer admits Russia narrative is ‘bullshit,’ just for ‘ratings’

CNN producer John Bonifield admits that the organization of anti-Russia reporting was purely for ratings. The senior producer at CNN has described an intense reality that Russia aided the Trump presidential campaign as “bullshit”. This all has filmed on hidden camera.

Filmed has released by conservative activist James O’Keefa via Project Veritas. In this filmed  Bonifield tells the reporter “It’s mostly bullshit right now. Like, we don’t have any big giant proof,”

Veritas was formed by O’Keefa, the main objective of this mission was to “investigate and expose corruption, dishonesty, self-dealing, waste, fraud and other misconduct.”  It has since been sued for its primarily targeting liberal organizations, information gathering methods, highly edited formats and presenting its finding in a misleading.

Now in the latest Veritas investigation, the supervising producer at CNN Health Bonifield permit the unidentified journalist for a meeting. In this meeting, the Bonifield revealed some hidden truth about anti-Russia reporting.

“So why is CNN constantly like, ‘Russia this, Russia that?’” the journalist asks, to which Bonifield responds, “Because it’s ratings.”

“Our CIA is doing shit all the time, we’re out there trying to manipulate governments,” Bonifield says.

Bonifield admits “I think the President is probably right to say, like, look, you are witch-hunting me,”.

CNN’s Russia tactic has paid off, Bonifield admits: “Our ratings are incredible right now.”

Bonifield further explains that how far CNN pushed the Russia line, and also says in this video “It’s a business, people are like the media has an ethical phssssss…All the nice cutesy little ethics that used to get talked about in journalism school you’re just like, that’s adorable. That’s adorable. This is a business,”

Although Bonifield does not mention the name of current CEO of CNN Jeff Zuker in the video which O’Keefa says was filmed in Atlanta.
